Immortal Beloved: Beethoven's masterpieces at Festspielhaus Baden‐Baden
About the Event
Maurice Schlesinger — actually “Moritz”, originally “Mora Abraham”: the Parisian music publisher with his retirement home in Baden‐Baden championed the works of German composers in France throughout his life. He met Beethoven in Vienna and secured the rights to his last piano sonatas. All the more reason to celebrate the composer in our city today! This time with two of his most popular works: the Seventh Symphony and the Violin Concerto.
