About the Event
In Puccini's wintery “La Bohème,” the orchestra transforms itself into an oversized fireplace right at the beginning: a flickering fire scherzo full of orchestral colors that warms the freezing bohemians. These are played by top‐class performers – Carolina López Moreno as Mimì and star tenor Benjamin Bernheim as Rodolfo, to name just two examples. The musical direction is taken over by Marco Armiliato, a maestro in demand worldwide with engagements at the Met, La Scala, and the Vienna State Opera.
With surtitles in German and English.
