About the Event
Nacho Duato is a legend his ballets draw huge crowds and are featured on the repertoires of the world’s top companies. During his guest performance in Baden‐Baden, the master will present his young, Salamanca‐based Compañía Nacho Duato. For the occasion, he has chosen one of his classics: “Duende” is a term deeply rooted in Spanish culture that encompasses both the passionate coolness of a flamenco dancer and the magic of a chance encounter. Through dance, Duato explores the word’s many layers of meaning—a tribute to the tradition and spirit of his homeland. “Cantus,” Duato’s latest creation, was developed specifically for the company in 2024.
