Also sprach Zarathustra
Baden‐Baden, Festspielhaus Baden‐Baden
About the Event
The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under Kirill Petrenko presents Brahms' monumental First Piano Concerto with the exceptional Icelandic pianist Víkingur Ólafsson. This is followed by a cult piece of orchestral music, Richard Strauss's “Thus Spoke Zarathustra,” world‐famous for its use in Stanley Kubrick's film “2001: A Space Odyssey” – and also played by the Berliners on the soundtrack.
