| Orchestra: | Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina Established in 1981 by Maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta, the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina swiftly established itself as one of the best Chamber Orchestras in Europe. Touring across the continent, and further afield, the 40‐strong ensemble adapts its forces to the programme at hand. Officially recognised by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities for its exceptional achievements, the award‐winning orchestra is a regular feature on national and international broadcasts, with an extensive discography. Collaborating with a range of prestigious guest soloists, conductors and ensembles, the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina performs in many of Florence's most important architectural landmarks and also supports competitions for the promotion and professional development of young artists. |
