About the Event
This morning will be a warm one full of Spanish fire. Stellar violinist Leticia Moreno will play Bizet’s Spanish love drama Carmen in a version for violin and orchestra with her characteristic warmth. She’ll also play Capriccio espagñol, Rimsky‐Korsakov’s imaginary hot‐blooded Spanish adventure, a dream for a composer living in chilly Russia. The Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, led by Thierry Fischer, will also play Falla’s fiery suite from El amor brujo.
