About the Event
A delightful tradition: the year‐end concert by the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw. This season, the ensemble is joined by the extraordinary, multiple Grammy‐winning jazz vocalist Kurt Elling, hailed as 'the standout male vocalist of our time.' Alongside the Jazz Orchestra, he will deliver a heartwarming performance with a festive nod to Christmas, featuring swinging holiday classics and the most beautiful pieces from Kurt Elling's repertoire to celebrate the season!

It goes without saying that The Concertgebouw is a perfect match for jazz & pop music. The stages of both the Main Hall and the Recital Hall have witnessed nearly the entire history of jazz. Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald have performed here, as well as Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong. Renowned pop stars and bands that have graced the Main Hall include Frank Zappa, the Doors, and the Eagles, to name just a few. Legendary concerts, both past and present.
