About the Event
For centuries Johann Sebastian Bach has been a source of inspiration for musicians and artists. Soprano Johannette Zomer and pianist Bert van den Brink were also deeply moved by his music. In this concert they not only bring to life some of Bach's finest works, but also play their own compositions and improvisations in which the spirit of Bach resounds.
The evening will be enriched by a top‐notch ensemble of musicians from both the baroque and jazz worlds. This versatile ensemble breaks musical boundaries and pays homage to Bach that merges tradition and innovation. The result is a unique interpretation of his legacy that brings to life the power of Bach's music in its own unique way.
