Jazz and pop music
It's undeniable that The Concertgebouw and jazz & pop music are a perfect match. The stages of both the Main Hall and the Recital Hall have showcased nearly all of jazz history. Icons like Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald have performed here, along with Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong. Renowned pop stars and bands like Frank Zappa, the Doors, and the Eagles have also made their mark on the Main Hall stage—legendary concerts that resonate both now and in the past.
