Klaus Mäkelä and Lisa Batiashvili

Klaus Mäkelä shares a profound connection with Jean Sibelius, who elevated Finland in the classical music world. Although Sibelius once aspired to be a violinist, this dream materialized instead into an unforgettable violin concerto. Lisa Batiashvili, a cherished guest soloist for over twenty‐five years, passionately performs Sibelius’s captivating Violin Concerto.

Beethoven's Symphony No. 7
Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony radiates an extraordinary vitality through its compelling rhythms. Its 1813 premiere stands as one of Beethoven’s career highlights, with audiences demanding an encore of the second movement, which continues to resonate in films and TV. Beethoven's legacy endures 200 years after his passing—we simply can’t get enough!
