American Caroline Shaw is this season’s composer in residence at The Concertgebouw. Tonight she shares the stage with compatriot and singer‐songwriter Gabriel Kahane. The song cycle on tonight’s programme, inspired by Borges’ novel The Library of Babel, is a product of their musical friendship.
