September 2026 marks the centenary of John Coltrane's birth. As a tribute to one of jazz's most illustrious voices, the Branford Marsalis Quartet and Dianne Reeves — both multiple Grammy Award winners — are releasing a tribute album inspired by Coltrane's groundbreaking 1963 collaboration with Johnny Hartman. The album is accompanied by a world tour, which brings Marsalis and Reeves to the Main Hall tonight. A hall where Coltrane himself gave three legendary concerts: in 1960 with Miles Davis and in 1961 and 1963 with his quartet. Hear how musical history comes to life again tonight at The Concertgebouw!
