The New York Times describes him as a pianist ‘whose playing combines clarity, elegance and abundant technique’. Cliburn winner Aristo Sham makes his debut in Amsterdam. His programme includes Brahms' piano sonatas, music by 'a young man whose cradle was watched over by fairies and heroes', according to Robert Schumann. The latter composer, Bach and Chopin also feature in the evening's programme.
