Enjoy a concert dedicated to Shostakovich and Brahms at the Béla Bartók National Hall in Budapest. Violinist Julian Rachlin and pianist Denis Matsuev offer a wonderful moment of chamber music.

Both Denis Matsuev, chosen as Müpa Budapest's 2018‐2019 Artist of the Season, and Julian Rachlin are monumental musical personalities with enormous spirit, expressiveness and charisma. They are also true virtuosos. To date, Matsuev has only performed in concertos and at solo piano evenings in Hungary, while Julian Rachlin has already appeared in Budapest concert halls as a chamber musician. The cooperation, ability to adapt and musical dialogue that flows between them will be exciting to behold.
