She is the new star rising on the jazz firmament and is regularly compared with the greatest of her kind: Cécile McLorin Salvant. When the daughter of French‐Haitian parents won the First Prize at the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition in 2010, the »New York Times« praised her as »one of the most outstanding jazz singers of the past ten years«. In the meantime, the vocalist and composer has embarked upon an unparalleled career, winning three Grammys along the way. The artist, who received a classical music education at the Darius Milhaud Conservatory in Aix‐en‐Provence, gives her jazz performances a highly individual note, winning hearts with her versatility, charisma and vocal prowess.
