Get ready for a special music experience of this year’s 'Summer Classical' at Tivoli Concert Hall.

In 2008 the music magazine Gramophone named the Budapest Festival Orchestra one of the 10 best orchestras in the world - a sentiment that is repeated in reviews from all over the world! The orchestra was founded in 1983 by Iván Fischer - and he remains the orchestra's chief conductor and artistic director.
Berlioz's song cycle Les nuit d'été describes in a romantic way the many aspects of love: the young innocent infatuation, the loss and the rediscovered love. The songs are sung by the Swedish soprano Miah Persson, who has made a name for herself worldwide as an outstanding concert singer.
Tchaikovsky's Sixth Symphony with its stormy emotions and intense sensitivity, which have ensured her immortality, rounds off the evening.

The Tivoli Concert Hall is located in the heart of the Tivoli Gardens. Due to its unique location, attending a concert at Tivoli also gives you access to the fairy-tale garden with flower beds, magical light installations, fountains and restaurants.

Tivoli Gardens is the second-oldest- and one of the most visited seasonal theme park in the world. Its various cultural offerings and its unique composition of rides and attractions make your concert visit a perfect treat for your day out in Copenhagen.
