Bruckner Cycle

About the Event

The Brandenburg Summer Concerts and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Cottbus State Theatre continue the cycle of Anton Bruckner's symphonies.

This year's programme features his Symphony No. 6 in A major, performed in St. Nicholas Church, one of the largest and oldest churches in Brandenburg. The programme is complemented by two works by Richard Wagner, with whom Anton Bruckner was so closely associated: the lyrical prelude to Lohengrin and Isolde's Liebestod.
