The Berlin Residence Orchestra invites you to a musical journey through the Baroque and Classical eras in the midst of spring‐coloured nature.

Just as spring awakens nature to the first rays of sunshine with radiant seas of blossoms, joyful birdsong and the murmur of streams, people throughout the ages have celebrated the changing of the seasons with festivals and dances.
In the courtly music of the Baroque period, composers were also strongly inspired by nature with its lively luxuriance — many of the court dances for open‐air festivities that were common at the time were created under this influence.
The Berlin Residence Orchestra with its virtuoso playing brings the atmosphere of these festivals in nature to life for you with Boccherini ́s Minuet and the 'Chaconne' Ouverture from J.B. Lully ́s 'L ́amour medecin'.
Let yourself be seduced by the romantic atmosphere and the first rays of sunshine — perhaps even spring‐like fairies will appear, floating around the old walls to the music….
