Berlin Residence Concert: Classical New Year's Concert in Viennese Style
Berlin, Schloss Charlottenburg — Orangerie — Große Orangerie
About the Event
The year 2024 has begun its journey in the circle of time, and we would like to welcome it with a concert in Viennese style. The Great Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace provides a glamorous atmosphere for this musical event.
We begin with Mozart's 'Eine kleine Nachtmusik,' a piece that allows us to briefly review the past year. This serenade embodies the beauty in music and in life, reminding us that despite many uncertainties, there were also touching and joyful moments.
Following, we take you on our musical journey on a spirited adventure in the New Year. The duet 'Lippen schweigen' and the aria 'Da geh' ich zu Maxim' from Franz Lehár's operetta 'Die lustige Witwe' add zest and liveliness to the performance. The charming old Viennese dance tunes 'Schön Rosmarin', 'Liebesfreud' and 'Liebesleid' by Fritz Kreisler could possibly awaken your dancing enthusiasm. Maybe this is a nice resolution for the new year?
Together we would like to welcome the year 2024 with a musical celebration in Viennese style and offer you an unforgettable and rousing experience.
