Beethoven's grandiose Seventh Symphony starred in the Oscar‐winning film The King's Speech. In the Great Hall this morning, this music sounds at least as moving and compelling. Anastasia Kobekina lets her beautiful Stradivarius cello shine in Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations.
