Embark to a musical journey with the harpsichordist Justin Taylor at the beautiful Théâtre Grévin in Paris.

History has it that Bach composed his Goldberg Variations to cure the insomnia of Count Kayserling, Russian ambassador to the Prussian court: a funny but certainly false anecdote. It doesn't matter, though, that this is an absolute masterpiece, almost mythical in the entire keyboard repertoire. Bach's brilliant counterpoint reaches here an unequaled summit, while succeeding the tour de force to come alive with a warm humanity, embodied entirely by the sublime introductory Aria which also concludes the collection. Justin Taylor no longer has to prove his brilliant virtuosity: he will once again show his talents as a sound architect and poet.
