About the Event

The Austrian mezzo‐soprano Elisabeth Starzinger touches deep into the soul with her program, which she dedicates entirely to the various compositions around 'Ave Maria'. Usually at home on European stages, the sought‐after artist can now be experienced in the intimate setting of the crypt in one of her rare, very personal concerts.
She is accompanied on the piano by Yuumi Yamaguchi, whose sensitive playing ideally complements her.
Established as Austria's smallest theater, the song recitals as well as opera performances captivate with their high quality and unusual venue. Located deep beneath St. Peter's Church in Vienna, the crypt offers personal and unforgettable classical music experiences.
