About the Event

Japan has the longest tradition of using its own instruments in combination with Western instruments. This is one of the reasons why composers who are at home in this tradition continue to write special works for the extremely heterogeneous instrumentation of the AsianArt Ensemble — this program brings together some impressive examples.
