The Japanese concert pianist received much of her musical training in Germany, studying at the Hanns Eisler School in Berlin. Her mastery of an unusually wide range of repertoire, from the baroque to the contemporary, including world premieres of new works, has ensured that she is in demand as both soloist and chamber musician across Europe and Asia.
