Maria Masycheva, the Winner of the prestigious Marguerite Long — Jacques Thibaud International Competition and the Second Prize Winner of the famous Concours de Geneve, has gained an international reputation as an outstanding piano performer with a versatile talent and wide‐ranging musical interests. A rare combination of superb technique and expressiveness captivates audiences worldwide and bring her high appreciation from many famous contemporary musicians, including Walter Blankenheim, Valery Afanassiev, Dang Thai Son and Jacques Rouvier.
Maria's diverse repertoire embraces a wide range of styles, from baroque to contemporary music. Maria has 21 solo programs, including the first book of the Bach Well Tempered Clavier and over 30 concertos for piano with orchestra.
Maria Masycheva regularly gives master courses in Europe and Russia. Since 2010 she is a permanent professor of the piano faculty at the Suolahti international summer music academy, Finland and at the “Musique en cote de Nacre” festival, France.
