Founder and chief conductor of the celebrated Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, the Italian conductor Giuseppe Lanzetta has achieved recognition around the world, as both a guest conductor of prestigious orchestras and as leader of one of Europe's most exceptional chamber orchestras. Since 1981, Lanzetta has conducted over 1300 concerts at the head of his 40-piece ensemble, many of these in the magnificent surroundings of Florence's most famous buildings. In 2017, Lanzetta was appointed Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in recognition of his musical achievements.
