Established with the goal of transmitting the art of interpretation across the generations, the Harmonia Ensemble Wien is formed of multiple generations of expert musicians, from players with decades of chamber music and teaching experience to successful soloists and young graduates. Primarily a string ensemble, the Harmonia Ensemble adds wind instruments and vocal talents to its forces as necessary to deliver a broad-ranging repertoire. As the house ensemble of Vienna's St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Harmonia Ensemble adds the joy of making and sharing music to this magnificent edifice.
