Lee Andrew Davison is a jazz singer from Oklahoma, USA. Son of a farmer, Lee experienced racially segregated school in the South. Musically, he was influenced by the Protestant chants, spirituals, and gospels. He graduated on the University of Alabama, settled in Boston and established a professional gospel quartet. Later he became director of the gospel choir at Harvard University. In 1991 he moved to Prague and started to work with top Czech jazz musicians.
