Young German soprano Anna Lucia Richter lends her silvery voice and mature artistry to Schumann's Liederkreis, based on the poetry of Joseph Eichendorff. Written during the composer's prolific 'year of song', the work is regarded as one of the great song cycles of the 19th century.
