A joyable listening, not just for opera fans!

The fact that Amalia of Saxony dedicated her life to the arts was not a matter of course for a woman of the 19th century. Belatedly commemorating the 150th anniversary of her death, which would have fallen in 2020, the Dresdner Kapellsolisten under Helmut Branny perform her opera »Elvira«, thematically inspired by Mozart’s »Die Entführung aus dem Serail«.
