Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin at Konzerthaus Berlin
About the Event
Genuinely old and highly alive: For many seasons now, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin has been demonstrating how stirring music from the 17th to the early 19th century can sound in its own series at the Konzerthaus Berlin. Georg Philipp Telemann's concerts demonstrate a wide stylistic range, oscillating between Vivaldi's exuberance, erudite German counterpoint and French noblesse. In this concert, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin once again dedicates itself to this familiar companion, whose works have accompanied the ensemble as a kind of 'house composer' since its founding.
