A tale of time passing by

Experience classical music like never before in this astonishing performance at Paris's remarkable Opéra Comique.

This show takes place in a village a priori like the others. With its bakery, chess club, smoking bar, everything seems ordinary. But Terra Amata has a particularity. Here, all the inhabitants, from the mayor to the butcher to the schoolchildren, sing and express themselves to music. Together they cross the eras and seasons to the rhythm of works as varied as those of Mozart, Poulenc, Purcell, Bach, Britten or Gene Kelly.
Singing, dancing, theatre, tap dancing… the 115 children of the Maîtrise populaire de l'Opéra Comique share the time of a show the range of their disciplines, under the stage direction of Jos Houben and Emily Wilson and the baton of Sarah Koné.
