About the Event

Try to keep up with who’s who and what’s what in Oscar Straus’ farcical behind‐the‐scenes operetta. Featuring two of the biggest names in cabaret and operetta of today, Dagmar Manzel and Max Hopp, mistaken identities, long‐lost mothers and two determined women, as well as a series of hit song, promise an amusing evening.

Barie Kosky’s staging of in 1932 work premiered at the Komische Oper’s forerunner at Behrenstrasse, but it is not the only work by the Viennese composer to feature in the Komische Oper’s 18/19 season, with ‘The Pearls of Cleopatra’ and Ball am Savoy also being presented.
