In this musical homage at the Komische Oper Berlin, Dagmar Manzel's outstanding voice plunges the audience into the enchanted atmosphere of Berlin in the wild 1920s.

In 1921 the singer and actress Trude Hesterberg founded the Wilde Bühne (the “Wild Stage”) in the basement of the present‐day Theaters des Westens, thus laying the foundation for modern literary‐political cabaret in Germany.
