Giovanni Paisiello's Barber of Seville: Theater an der Wien

About the Event

René Jacobs conducts opera's most popular comedy.

In Seville, Rosina is being kept from prying eyes in the house of her guardian Bartolo. Because the young lady is beautiful and wealthy, Bartolo intends to marry her. My mother and I enjoyed this beautifully different opera. You could feel how popular Theater an der Wien is with local residents. Good to get under the skin of Vienna and join locals at an opera evening!
