The Scharoun Ensemble are joined by friends and colleagues for a concert of sacred music and arias.

The Scharoun Ensemble is named after the architect who built the Berlin Philharmonie: home to the Berlin Philharmonic, some of whose members make up the ensemble.

Scharoun are joined by the Zermatt Festival Orchestra, Oberwalliser Vokalensemble, soprano Regula Mühlemann and conductor Marcus Creed for a concert featuring funereal music from Mozart and Bruckner.

The Zermatt Festival is in its 10th year of bringing the highest‐quality performers to the beautiful Alpine town.
