Félicien David, contemporary of Berlioz and composer of 'Le Désert', reflects the French predilection for Oriental subjects. He was a colorist, a man of modesty, a humanist.

From April 5th to May 17th, the Palazzetto Bru Zane presents this festival, dedicated to Félicien David. Great artists will perform his compositions in Venice.
