About the Event

The second part of Wagner's epic "Ring Cycle" conducted by Kirill Petrenko and starring Stuart Skelton and Evelyn Herlitzius.

In the first full day of the Ring – "Rheingold" is just a preliminary evening – a brother and sister fall in love, and a daughter defies her father, causing her to be cursed and abandoned on a mountain, surrounded by magic fire.

Wagner's monumental music‐drama takes as its subject matter everything from the human to the godly, with music to match.
