Berliner Residenz Konzerte Royal Christmas: Dinner & Concert in Charlottenburg
About the Event
Travel back to the grand Baroque era and dwell in winter dreams with a festive Christmas dinner and concert in Berlin's Charlottenburg Palace Orangerie.
Christmas — a time full of festivity and for many people associated with the desire for peace and reflection. Music can give us these moments, which is why we cordially invite you again this year to our touching festive concerts on December 24 and both Christmas holidays in the Great Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace!
The music of George Frideric Handel has touched people's souls for centuries. The Berlin Residence Ensemble, conducted by Alexandra Rossmann, will perform excerpts from his oratorio 'Messiah HWV 56,' including 'But who may abide the day of His coming,' the Pastoral Symphony and 'He shall feed his flock like a shepherd.'
The music of Johann Sebastian Bach and the Concerto grosso op.6 No.8 'Fatto per la note di Natale' by the Italian Arcangelo Corelli with its famous Pastorale will warm your hearts and bear witness to mankind's longing for peace and harmony.
Let yourself be enchanted by the festive sounds and immerse yourself in the contemplative, Christmas atmosphere!
Royal Christmas Dinner
Perhaps on both Christmas holidays you will turn your concert visit into a feast for all the senses with a royal dinner in the west wing of the Great Orangery — a Christmas three‐course menu before the concert is provided!
