About the Event

Riccardo Muti and musicians from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra return to the the Salle Pleyel for a second tribute to brass instruments. There is an explosion of warm colors in Stravinsky's Firebird, then a depiction of majestic architecture in Schumann's Andante Maestoso. Finally, they sparkle with subtlety and grandeur in Tchaikovsky's Tempest.
