In the very place where Johann Strauss himself used to direct his orchestra from the position of first violin, the absolute essence of Vienna's classical music can once again be heard every day!

The Salonorchester Alt Wien, one of the best-known interpreters of classical Viennese music in Vienna, presents an evening full of Viennese charm with the lilting sound of waltzes, polkas, arias, and duets as well as melodies from operettas and piano concertos. Accompanied by excellent opera vocalists and enchanting ballet soloists, Vienna's classical music reveals itself as a living fireworks display for all the senses.

This offer can be also booked as a "Concert & Dinner" option - an excellent dinner combined with a waltz concert is an absolute highlight of any visit to Vienna.

Combine the musical delights of a concert in the Lanner Hall of the Kursalon with a delicious gala dinner in stylish surroundings after the concert. You can choose to indulge in the four-course "Imperial Vienna" menu, or the three-course "Kaiserwalzer“ menu. Either way, the elegant ambience of the Vienna Kursalon promises an experience to remember.



VIP Concert & Dinner Category:

The VIP Category is highly recommended. If you decide to book this category, you will receive the "Imperial Vienna" menu, a VIP seat, a glass of sparkling wine, one Johann Strauss CD, and a signed programme.


The dinner will take place before the concert at "Das Johann" restaurant in the Kursalon, or at "Mediterraneo" restaurant in the Hotel Intercontinental across the street of the Kursalon.

VIP Concert Category:

The category VIP includes a reserved VIP seat, a glass of sparkling wine in the concert interval, a Johann Strauss CD and a concert programme booklet.

Important notice:
On April 14th 2012 the restaurant will be closed. The dinner will be offered at hotel Intercontinental (Restaurant Mediterraneo) according to availability.
