About the event 'New Year's Gala: Fortress Salzburg'

Enjoy an unique New Year´s Eve Gala: a Mozart and Strauss concert in the Hohensalzburg Fortress, with views over city and countryside of Salzburg.

The "Salzburger Festungskonzerte" presents highly qualified musicians and internationally recognised soloists performing the best works of Mozart and Strauss. In addition, the audience experiences the special atmosphere of the 900 year-old Festung Hohensalzburg, the landmark of the "Mozart City" of Salzburg. The view from the concert hall is incomparable and unique.

Midnight: Champagne on the terrace with fireworks
