About the event
Soloists, Choir and Orchestra perform Mozart's Requiem conducted by Konstantin Hiller. Fans of Mozart's spiritual music will be thrilled by this performance of Mozart's requiem. Mozart's last opus in an amazing concert under one of the most beautiful baroque domes north of the alps. This masterpiece of classical music is characterized by it's different emotional phases of uprising, fear, hope and salvation. Emotions that Mozart lived through during the weeks of writing the music that would be his last.
The choir and the orchestra of the Salzburger Konzertgesellschaft are both ensembles made up of musicians with strong ties to Salzburg. The members of the choir are all excellent and highly trained singers and in large part graduates of the highly renowned Mozarteum in Salzburg.
