The world‐famous singer, Ute Lemper, has performed a wide variety of musical styles and genres. This programme in Berlin is dedicated to South American Tango.

The dramatic songs of Astor Piazzolla are at the focus of this programme: songs of love, death, passion, and longing in Buenos Aires. Compositions of Kurt Weill and Jacques Brel follow the Tango tradition to the cities of Berlin, Paris and New York.
