Anna Netrebko

About the Event

Star soprano Anna Netrebko will perform music of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi at Victoria Hall in Geneva.

The New York Observer called the Russian diva "Audrey Hepburn with a voice", and the San Francisco Chronicle praised "a singer who has it all: imagination, insight, and wit".

She is certainly the most brilliant operatic voice of our time, and she masters a vast and varied repertoire. Netrebko will enchant Geneva with the final work of Italian Baroque composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi: his famous Stabat Mater, composed in 1736, the year of his death. The programme also includes selected cantatas by the same composer, and the Sinfonia from his oratorio, "Li prodigi della divina grazia nella conversione e morte di San Guglielmo d’Aquitania".

Don't miss the chance to hear this outstanding soprano in Geneva.
