Renowned for his penetrating and expressive playing, and beloved for this technical facility, and virtuoso transcriptions of music as far‐ranging as Queen and The Lion King, Wibi Soerjadi has been giving a Christmas gala performance at the Concertgebouw since he was 23 years old. No other artist has performed a solo recital there in so many consecutive years.
