Magdi Bódy

Magdi Bódy is equally comfortable in the worlds of jazz, musicals and pop, and has forged a successful singing career.

Bódy spent a total of 15 years in Canada and the United States, where she performed with some of the top names in music. Bódy comes to the Palace of Arts to sing some of the finest jazz classics of the past 40 years, as well as unique reworkings of some of her own songs. She will be backed by her friends Emilió and the Four Fathers as she sings a capella versions of songs, while musical accompaniment will be provided by world‐renowned pianist Béla Szakcsi Lakatos and Artisjus Award‐winning bass guitarist József “Plútó” Horváth.

The concert will be enlivened further by the digital “videoramas” of photographer János Eifert.
