On Schumann's bicentenary, Düsseldorf turns into a veritable Schumann‐city. The entire work of the ingenious Romantic composer can be heard in the course of the year.

The Schumannfest celebrates the anniversary with outstanding compositions. In this concert, Debussy's "La Mer", Unsuk Chin's "Concerto for Violin", Ravel's "La Valse", and Schumann's "Konzert für Violoncello und Orchester a‐Moll Op.129" will be performed by Viviane Hagner, Jian Wang and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, with conductor Chung Myung‐Whun.
