In the 2009‐2010 Season, The Bronx Opera presents Donizetti's "Don Pasquale".

 

 

Don Pasquale is an opera buffa in three acts and was premiered 1843 at the Théâtre‐Italien in Paris. The opera tells the story about the rich Don Pasquale and his urge to marry a much younger beautiful Norina. But his own nephew Ernesto is in love with Norina — through the help of Dr. Malatesta, the young woman plans her intrigue on Don Pasquale…
