Four singers and eight instrumentalists perform an innovative dramatic interpretation of Mozart's Requiem, directed by Andreas Bode at the Altstadtherbst Kulturfestival 2009.

Mozart's stunningly beautiful Requiem is given a unique new form in this music‐theatre project about the human condition in the face of death. The twelve musical movements are joined by silent scenes that strikingly express the relationship between human beings and mortality itself. Musically overwhelming and playfully gripping, this theatrical death mass is an experience that moves, disturbs, and leaves a lasting impression.
